Fragmented

Beauty becomes fragmented, identity becomes unstable. My images portray progression from human to digital to post digital; the series, is discourse in an argument. 
No faces are fully shown to show how social media fractures identity and never shows it all at once. No polished outcome or perfected face in my images, as it argues with the social media narrative that beauty is achievable if one tries hard enough. Because people should be noticed for their true self and shouldn't have to change themselves for others. Social media doesn't just reflect beauty standards, but it creates them. 
Beauty is no longer just about appearance but about endurance and visibility.
